// LFW day one: outfit & thoughts

MY OUTFIT: ASOS TOP // SHEINSIDE SKIRT* // BOOHOO JACKET* // PRIMARK SHOES // NEW LOOK BAG // ACCESSORIZE NECKLACE
So day one at LFW has come to an end, and day 2 is already in full swing down at Somerset House! Yesterday I met with my best blogging gal Tiger for a packed day of shows, mingling and lots and lots of food (so. many. Snogs). We had such a fun day over all, but I couldn't help but feel slightly out of my depth surrounded by all those beautiful, stylish people. It was great meeting up with some of my favourite bloggers again, and most of them were lovely, but it only takes the odd aloof, slightly self-important successful blogger to look down at you and all of a sudden you feel so so tiny and irrelevant! We still really enjoyed our day, but fashion week really does bring out the more shallow, competitive and constantly comparative sides of blogging and the industry as a whole. It's so hard not to stand talking to these people and not feel like you're not good enough! On a more positive note, I'm definitely feeling inspired to up my blogging game over the next few weeks in a bid to keep my head above water in the hugely competitive and saturated world that is blogging at the moment!

Anyway, ramble over, my favourite show was definitely Jamie Wei Huang, closely followed by Ones to Watch and Ashley Isham. Another highlight was getting a lift in the Popchips rickshaw to Freemasons' Hall from Somerset House. That poor guy's legs must have been burning after having Tiger and I in the back! Also, that Pret salad, mmmmm.

I'm currently still deciding whether or not I want to go back up to Somerset House this afternoon. I have an outfit planned and was all set to go, but now I'm not so sure if I can face it all again for another day! The whole event is just so overwhelming. Watch this space!

You looked gorgeous!
The fashion/blogger industry is a hard one! Being a fashion student, I go through those kind of behaviors on a daily basis... It's not easy and as you said you feel so small.
I think it's a bummer because everybody could be so supportive and kind but it's not the case. It's an utopia!
Anyway, you should stay true to yourself and concentrate on what you're doing and leave those people on the side :) x

You look amazing, love your jacket. Don't let the big heads get you down. It's their problem not yours!
I love your blog :)
