// maga

As I mentioned in my previous post, I spent the last week having the time of my life on my first girls holiday to Magaluf, Mallorca.
There is definitely a HUGE stigma attached to this particular destination at the moment due to some not so complimentary media coverage, however I can confirm that it is NOTHING like the media make it seem! I was pretty apprehensive about going after hearing all the bad press, but my four best friends and I had the most amazing week and we were pleasantly surprised by the lack of griminess that we experienced whilst we were there.
Maga is actually a really nice place to walk around and spend time; the beach was beautiful and there were some great cocktail bars and places to eat. At night it does come alive, but that's not to say that it's really outrageous and unpleasant! We had six crazy, memorable, yet totally hassle and problem-free nights out. Paint parties, foam parties, UV parties, boat parties, you name it we did it, but we never had any problems and we all felt so so safe walking around in the early hours. We stayed in Hotel Samos which is right next to one of the biggest clubs; BCM. I couldn't recommend the place enough! Lovely staff, tasty food, clean rooms, perfect location and a beaut pool.
All in all, I would 100% recommend Maga if you're looking for somewhere to go for your first girls holiday or indeed any kind of party holiday! You totally get the best of both the crazy party world and the chilled, beach holiday world. Ignore the bad press and go and see for yourself!

I went on holiday to Maga this summer too, completely agree its not anything like the media make it out to be. We stayed in Hotel Sol Trinidad and could see Samos' pool and we were all quite jealous haha xx
