Can you believe it has been about 2 weeks since I last posted? Time has flown by recently, and life has been one big whirlwind of school, revision, more school, and maybe a little bit more revision! The appalling English weather has made an outfit post impossible, so I decided to write about something that wouldn't involve straying from the warmth of the house; that being what I view as my makeup essentials.

As you can tell, I don't tend to buy much high end makeup. Although I do love to have some expensive bits and pieces in my makeup kit, I firmly believe that at my age it's unnecessary to spend a bomb on makeup when you're still experimenting and your skin is still changing and at times unpredictable. There are some great products on sale at the drugstore that do the job perfectly and if you find that a certain product doesn't work particularly well for your skin, you haven't wasted a ton of money!

Although the items pictured above are my core essentials, there are a few products that I feel deserve honourable mentions: the Topshop cream blushes, L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes mascara, Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection concealer, ELF Studio stippling brush and lastly the MUA Heaven and Earth eyeshadow palette.

What makeup products could you not live without?

xoxo
